Becoming a Friend

Sustaining Artistic Excellence

The joys of hearing the world’s best musicians perform in the acoustical splendor of Spivey Hall. A deeply-held belief in the importance of enhancing people’s lives through great music. The desire to ensure that children have opportunities to discover and appreciate music from many countries and traditions. Pride in the achievements of special young singers in the wonderful Spivey Hall Children’s Choir Program. These are just some of the many reasons why people join the Spivey Hall Friends.

Annual donations from the Spivey Hall Friends play an increasingly critical role in sustaining the artistic excellence of Spivey Hall’s concert series and education programs.

The Benefits of Being a Friend

  • Recognition in Spivey Hall program books for a period of 12 months from receipt of donation.
  • Priority seating when you purchase a Spivey Hall subscription of four or more concerts before single tickets go on sale.
  • Invitations to special receptions and events, such as the new season announcement celebration each spring.

Friends at the $100 level or higher receive: Same-day ticket exchange privileges. You can call the box office until an hour before concert time to turn in your tickets. Their purchase price can be applied to tickets for a future concert, with no service fee.*

Friends at the $250 level and above receive: Ambassador Program Tickets each season (up to 3 pairs for Friends at the $1000+ level), so you can invite friends who have never been to a Spivey Hall concert to attend with you. Simply call the Box Office and supply the name and mailing address of the people you wish to introduce to Spivey Hall. As an “ambassador” of Spivey Hall, you can help us expand our patron base while treating your friends to some of the best live music to be heard in the Southeast.

*Does not apply to sold-out performances. Sold-out performances require the normal 72 hours advance notice.

Beyond friends, become a sponsor.

Friends at the $2500 level and above are eligible to become Spivey Hall Concert Sponsors, with an array of special benefits. To discuss the artist you’d like to sponsor, please telephone Development Specialist Elise Royston at (678) 466-4486.
