Xuefei Yang, guitar

China’s most accomplished classical guitarist, Xuefei Yang ("zhu-fey yahng") has performed in over 40 countries throughout the UK, Europe, Asia, and North America. The New York Times admires her "feisty virtuosity, impeccable technique and sensitive musicianship in repertory ranging from Albeniz to arrangements of Western pop and Asian songs."

Gramophone observes, "Yang’s playing exhibits that kind of subtle intelligence that makes even the most disparate elements seem effortlessly to cohere. The color and fluency of her playing is a delight throughout. The guitar world has a new star."
