Our Song: The Atlanta Gay and Lesbian Chorus

OurSong: The Atlanta Gay and Lesbian Chorus makes its Spivey Hall debut on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 8:15 PM, with Shout Out to Heaven and Earth, a holiday program inspired by nature with themes of Heaven and Earth, offering insights and reflections of what makes the holidays such a special time of year.  This show for all ages features a diverse collection of music styles including modern master works by Laurdisen, Memley, and many others while also including many treasured holiday favorites.  OurSong has packed the performance with songs that will warm your heart, delight your soul and continue to inspire you throughout the holiday season.

About OurSong: OurSong is Atlanta’s only mixed gay and lesbian chorus. Its singers, directors, accompanists and non-singing members serve in a volunteer capacity. The chorus strives to provide gays and lesbians with opportunities for the performance of choral music in a supportive and affirming environment. Through music, the chorus strives to enrich the lives of its members, the Atlanta area lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community and the community at large. OurSong provides a visible presence and positive voice in and for the Atlanta LGBT communities.

Admissions Policy
