Gunnar Idenstam was born in the extreme north of Sweden, and his teachers included the renowned French organist Marie-Claire Alain. A compelling interpreter of Bach and winner of the 1984 Grand Prix de Chartres for improvisation, Gunnar Idenstam enjoys an international career as recitalist, composer, arranger, folk musician, and recording artist.

BACH Prelude and Fugue in E minor, BWV 548; IDENSTAM Suite from Cathedral Music; plus arrangements of Scandinavian folk tunes, a suite from Riverdance, and Ravel's Bolero
