Spivey Hall enters into co-presentation agreements with music organizations incorporated as non-profits for performances consistent with Spivey Hall’s music presentation and music education mission. In these instances, the non-profit organization undertakes all financial risk for the concert presentation.
By Clayton State University policy, Spivey Hall is not available for rent for individuals or organizations to present concerts independently. It is not a rental venue in the traditional sense.
Additionally, Spivey Hall may not be used for fund-raising or charity events. The non-profit organization may use any net ticket sales revenue it receives from the co-presentation as it wishes, but donations may not be solicited at the concert, nor may collections be taken at the concert, nor may fund-raising appeals be made from the stage.
